The species above is a nymph.
As you can see in the photos below, the nymphs of the Green Shield-bug are very colourful. Some are more black others more green or green pink'ish. Although the adult is more uniform in colour, it is not always just green as the name suggests. They do come in a variant of colours, like pink, yellow, green with a yellow, pink or white border or shoulders. In the winter months it often changes colour to brown.
